Anne Celeste Heche, an American actress who is recognized for her roles in films and television in a variety of categories. Her first role was as twins Vicky Hudson & Marley Love in the soap drama Another World from 1987-1991. She won the Daytime Emmy Award & two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney September 6 1953) is an American actress from the United States. She was best known as Lieutenant Sheba in the television series Battlestar Galactica ( 1978-1979). She is the daughter of the actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart's career started in a young age. When she was four, her first role as an actor was as a character in T is for Tumbleweed. The short film about the topic was selected at the Academy Awards. Lockhart would be in the film with her mom, where she was able to learn about the nuances of running a business. Lockhart appeared in many episodes of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 72 was her debut film. She played Joan Crawford's daughter as a character in The Sixth Sense, a 1972 TV series. This was her last acting appearance. It is a popular belief that Anne turned down the part of Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's 1978 film, Halloween. Jaime Lee Curtis was chosen to play the role. Carpenter says she was interested but she declined. Anne doesn't remember John Carpenter contacting her or offer the part. One of her agents could have rejected the role on her behalf and with no knowledge. Glen Larson chose her initially and sent her a preliminarily written script. The role she would take was in the TV series Battlestar Galactica, which aired in 1978. The role was initially rejected because the character was not that powerful. Glen wrote an entirely different character to play Sheba that was stronger. The Living Legend's initial 25-page script was read by her, and she immediately endorsed it. The show lasted only one episode. Co-starring in Joyride alongside Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
