Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a child of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Her father is Nigerian Swiss as is her mom who's English. Her family was raised in the south of a London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age fourteen. She pursued acting studies in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. As a student at the academy, she appeared in numerous stage plays, including King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. Over the past few years she has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe made her debut motion picture role in the Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Then, she was the lead in Elisha in an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie for six episodes from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. She played Bambi on The ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedic How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). Her stage credits are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes on The CW, and was later ended. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen for her as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was a regular on the drama series of Revenge on ABC in two episodes. In May 2013 that she'd be leaving the series following an appearance in the very first season of the third. On the show Salem the actress played Tituba in 2014 through the year 2016. In June 2012, she married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's four brothers, all very physically active, were all playing hockey during the winters and baseball in the summers, meaning that she grew up playing in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley didn't walk, instead she was a dancer. In the age of two and half, she found Baby Ballet. This was the beginning of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics as well as pointe until the time she completed in high school. In addition, she won top soloists awards in all major dance contests, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
